I finally fixed my morning brain fog with a $12 bag of black sesame seeds

Was dealing with that slow waking up feeling for like 2 years. Tried all the expensive matcha powders and mushroom blends (you know, the ones influencers push). Nothing worked. Then my grandma told me to just eat a spoonful of black sesame seeds every morning. Been doing it for 6 weeks now and I'm actually alert before 9am for the first time since college. Anyone else have a super cheap food hack that beat out the pricey supplements?

@ruby659, placebo or not, who cares if it works? Black sesame seeds are like $4 a bag at my local Asian market, so even if it's all in my head, my wallet is thanking me. I tried those $40 mushroom powders once and felt nothing but lighter in the bank account. Honestly, grandma's cheap hacks usually beat the influencer stuff every time.

6 weeks isn't that long though. Could just be the weather changing or sleeping better.
