My nephew pointed out the same lamp wobbles in 3 different "caught on camera" clips and now I can't unsee it
He's 14 and spends way too much time on YouTube, but last Saturday he sat me down at the kitchen table in our place near Akron and showed me three separate "security cam" videos with over 2 million views each. Same gray lamp on the same side table in all three, wobbling the exact same way. He said the clips were probably shot on a set, not in someone's living room, and once he pointed it out the whole thing looked fake. Now every time a video says "you won't believe what happened next" I look at the background stuff first. The lamp shows up at 0:04, 1:12, and 2:38, same wobble every time. Has anyone else caught a prop that keeps showing up in different viral clips?
Does the wobble itself really prove it's a set though? Lamps wobble in real living rooms too, especially if someone bumped the table or a truck rolled by outside. What bugs me more is how these channels reuse the same cheap staged clips and slap a scary title on them, so maybe the lamp is just the easiest clue to spot.
