The 2 AM infomercial that got me twice, same week
I laughed at that $25 avocado slicer on late night TV, called it a scam for people who can't use a knife. Three days later I saw it again at a flea market in Tampa and figured why not, I had cash burning a hole. My wrist still hurts from the first one bending backwards, but the second one somehow works perfect. Anyone else get burned by a product so bad you had to buy the same thing again just to prove it was the product, not you?

You ever buy something twice just to make sure the first one wasn't a total fluke? I did that with a cheap phone charger, first one caught fire, second one still works years later. Sometimes you just gotta give the universe another shot.

So the second one actually works fine for you? That's the part bugging me. Same factory, same design, same stupid handle, but one bends and one doesn't. Makes me wonder if they just have zero quality control and you got lucky twice in opposite directions. Did you ever try to get a refund on the first one, or did you just eat the $25 like I did?
