Spent 3 days fighting a bot that kept replying 'I am a real person' word for word

Finally checked the account history and found 800 identical posts. Kicked them out of the forum I mod. Has anyone else seen bots copy-paste exact phrases like that?

Did you check the timestamps between posts? Those bots might be running on a script that posts on a set delay to look more human.

Yeah, I used to think timing was random, but that actually makes a lot of sense.

Yeah, that script theory is pretty convincing. Changed my mind completely.
