Blew a hole in my greenhouse plastic during a storm last month
I was out back in Lincoln checking on my tomatoes after a big wind came through. The tarp I used as a temporary cover had torn clean open right at the seam, so I lost half my seedlings to the cold that night. I patched it with duct tape and some spare plywood scraps I had lying around, but three more plants wilted by morning. Has anyone here tried those heavy duty greenhouse films from the supply store for winter?

Oh PLEASE, it's just a torn tarp, not the end of the world.

Yeah @amyh12, lighten up, it's not like the whole roof caved in.

Honestly though @amyh12, I gotta say I see it a bit differently. A torn tarp might seem small but if it's covering a whole house frame that's exposed to rain and wind, that one tear can turn into a real problem fast. Water damage from even a small leak in the wrong spot can set a project back weeks and cost way more than a tarp replacement.
