Trying to save a fiddle leaf fig from root rot took me three months
I noticed the leaves dropping and thought it was just the move to a new apartment. The real issue was the soil holding too much water. Has anyone else had a plant that took forever to bounce back?

Three months is a long time for a plant. Are you sure it wasn't just being dramatic about the new light? Sometimes they take a while to adjust.

Consider the possibility my plant is just a diva. It gets more light and water than I do, and still acts up. I'm starting to take its complaints personally.
