Shoutout to the guy at the Reno county fair who got me off algorithm TikTok
I was at the Washoe County Fair last August and this old dude running the bingo booth told me to just mute the creators I hate instead of blocking them. Said the algorithm needs negative feedback too. Been doing it for 6 months and my feed went from 50% rage bait to maybe 10%. Has anyone else tried curating their watch history this way?

Pull that old dude into the booth next time and let him fix the rest of social media while he's at it. I've been doing this for maybe two months after reading some random Reddit thread and its wild how much less angry my feed got. Actually had a weird moment where I realized I was scrolling without getting pissed off every three seconds. Now I just mute the obvious rage bait accounts and let the algorithm starve. Did you notice your suggested searches change too or is that just me?
