Took me 3 hours to delete one 'duet' video off my phone

My buddy sent me this 47 second duet thing where someone 'sings' over a blender noise. Went to delete it and got stuck in a loop of auto-playing suggested clips for 3 hours. Had to restart my phone in a Starbucks parking lot to finally kill the app. Anyone else lose a whole afternoon to that stupid recommendation algorithm?

Learned this the hard way after losing a whole Saturday to sea shanty videos. Now I just delete the app the second I'm done watching whatever got sent to me. Sounds dumb but it takes two seconds to reinstall and saves me hours of doom scrolling. The auto play stuff is designed to trap you, it never ends. Also turning off autoplay in the settings helps a ton if you don't wanna delete it every time.

Whoa, deleting apps sounds extra, just turn off autoplay.
