A stranger at the airport gate changed how I pack for good

Last trip to Chicago O'Hare, I was bragging about my carry-on only setup. This older guy next to me said, "You're gonna be the one holding up the line looking for a charger." He was right, my bag was stuffed with 4 pairs of shoes but no power bank. Now I pack a $12 Anker and cut my clothes down to a single pair of spare sneakers. Anyone else get called out like that, and does it actually stick?
