Hostel in Barcelona changed my mind about shared bathrooms
I always avoided hostels because I figured shared bathrooms would be gross. But I stayed at the Sant Jordi Hostel in Barcelona for 21 euros a night and the private room with a shared bathroom was actually spotless. The bathrooms got cleaned twice a day and I never waited more than 5 minutes. Has anyone else had a good experience with a hostel that surprised them?

Glad you had a good experience but I gotta gently correct you - Sant Jordi Hostel is actually in Madrid, not Barcelona. They have a few locations around Spain but the one you're thinking of is Sant Jordi Hostels in Madrid, near the Plaza Mayor. Barcelona has a bunch of great hostels too though, like Yeah Hostel or Generator. Just a heads up so you don't accidentally end up booking the wrong city!

Eh, I mean, is it really that big of a deal? People mix up cities all the time when talking about hostels, especially with chains that have multiple spots. Honestly, if someone is booking a trip they're probably checking the address anyway before they put down their credit card. It's not like they're gonna show up in Barcelona with a Madrid reservation just because a random online poster said the wrong city. Feels like getting worked up over nothing, your mileage may vary though.
