Shoutout to the hostel in Lisbon that charged me 6 euros for a "free" breakfast
I booked a 3 night stay at a spot near Rossio Square for 22 euros a night and the listing said breakfast was included, so I planned my food budget around it. First morning I grab a roll and some coffee and the guy at the desk hands me a slip for 6 euros, turns out "free" meant free if I booked direct instead of through the site. I started hitting the grocery store down the block for 2 euro yogurt and fruit instead, and now I want to know how you all spot hidden fees like this before you book.
