Dropped $250 on a fancy espresso machine to save on coffee shop runs and now I'm actually spending more on fancy beans
I bought a $250 Breville machine thinking I'd save $5 a day but now I'm hooked on $16 bags of single-origin Ethiopian beans and somehow still hitting the drive-thru when I'm late, anyone else fall for this trap?

Honestly the real kicker is now I need a grinder too so that's another $200.

Honestly, is it really that serious though? You dropped $250 on a machine and now you're mad you're buying good beans? That's like buying a nice car and complaining gas costs more. A $16 bag of beans lasts a week or two, that's still way cheaper than a $5 latte every single day. And the drive-thru thing? That's just bad planning, not the machine's fault. People act like making coffee at home is some huge burden, but it literally takes three minutes. You got exactly what you paid for now own it.
