Pro tip: Check your old grocery store for deals

I was in my old neighborhood in Fresno yesterday and stopped at the grocery store I used to go to. They still have a small shelf in the back with day-old bread and baked goods for half price. I got a loaf of sourdough for $1.50 that's still perfectly good. It made me think about how I used to ignore those spots when I was younger. What other places have you found that still do simple deals like that?

Yeah, that day-old bread rack is a lifesaver. I used to walk right past it too, now I make a beeline for it.
