PSA: I saved $47 a month just by switching to a different laundry detergent from the dollar store

Tried the generic brand off the bottom shelf after seeing a neighbor use it last month, and my clothes come out just as clean as the name brand stuff, has anyone else found random household items that are way cheaper without losing quality?

I tried dollar store dish soap and honestly it works the same as Dawn.

Ngl @jordan_hill, are we really out here acting like dish soap is that deep? I tried the dollar store kind once and it barely cut through a greasy pan, so I had to use like triple the amount. Might work fine for light rinsing but for serious messes I still lean on the name brand stuff.
