Old sprial notebook vs my first official dotted Leuchtturm still feels like a huge upgrade years later
Honestly, going back to a regular ruled notebook after using dotted pages for six months just feels wrong now, so has anyone else gotten stubborn about their grid style?

Ha, the notebook snobbery is real. But do you ever catch yourself making exceptions for a specific situation or does the dotted rule apply everywhere now?

Started using dotted pages and now I can't look at wide rule paper without cringing lol. It's like how I got picky about paper towels after using those nice Viva ones - once you know better you just can't go back to the scratchy stuff. The dots give you freedom to write in any direction or draw boxes or make lists without the lines screaming at you. I notice this same stubbornness in coffee drinkers who swear by pour-over after trying it, or people who only wear certain socks now. Our brains just lock onto that one small comfort and treat everything else like a downgrade.

Dots changed everything for me too. Got a Leuchtturm last year and now blank pages feel too wild and lined pages feel like a cage. But here's the funny thing - I still use wide rule paper for grocery lists. Something about the chaos of a messy handwritten list just works better with lines keeping it somewhat readable.
The coffee thing is real. My buddy spent $300 on a proper grinder and now won't drink anything that's not fresh ground. We went camping and he brought his own beans and a hand grinder. Kinda ridiculous but I get it.
Now I'm worried this is gonna spread to other stuff. Already got picky about pens. Next thing I know I'll be one of those people who brings their own fork to restaurants.
