Just found a batch of pork shoulders from a new supplier that felt tacky and smelled a bit off last week.

They were delivered to my shop in Tacoma and I had to send the whole pallet back. Has anyone else had issues with that farm out near Puyallup?

We got a delivery from that same place last month... maybe 40 pounds of ribs that just didn't look right. The color was dull, almost grayish, and they had that same weird sticky feel you mentioned. Ended up tossing the whole lot, which hurt the budget for sure. I won't be ordering from them again.

Yeah, that "hurt the budget" part is the worst. Throwing out a whole order is such a gut punch. Really sorry you had to deal with that too.
