Question on pre-cut meat from a messy family dinner
Everyone says real butchers only hand-cut, but when my uncle dropped the whole tenderloin, store-bought strips kept the party going. Maybe having a backup isn't so wrong.
My friend Sarah totally tripped carrying a big bowl of homemade beef tips to the patio. They went all over the deck. She had a bag of pre-cut teriyaki strips in the fridge as a backup and just cooked those instead. It completely saved the party.
Oh man, that sounds like a total nightmare moment! Spilling all that hard work on the deck must have been so frustrating, especially with everyone waiting. Huge props to Sarah for keeping her cool and having a solid backup ready to go. That quick switch really did save the whole party!
Ever notice how the backup meat is always more reliable than the people carrying it? Sounds like those strips did more heavy lifting than your uncle, lol.
