Installed a new set of shaker doors for a kitchen in Austin last month. Everything looked perfect until I closed the last door and it rubbed against the frame on the bottom corner. Just 3mm off, not even a pencil width. Spent 2 full days adjusting hinges, planing the door edge, redoing the hinge mortises. Finally figured out the cabinet box itself was racked, the top was 3mm wider than the bottom. Never checked that first. Has anyone else chased a tiny gap for hours only to find the box was the problem?
