Hit 500 drops in a single month for the first time and it changed my mind about the new mapping app
I thought it was just a gimmick, but the real-time traffic overlay in the city saved me about 20 hours of drive time. Anyone else using GridView Pro for their daily routing?

That 20 hour savings is wild. It feels like all the apps we used to ignore are finally getting good at the small stuff that matters. What was the worst traffic jam it helped you avoid?

Google Maps saved me from a 12 mile backup on the 405 last month. I would have been stuck for HOURS. My only regret is that my car still doesn't have a bathroom.

A five mile backup on the interstate from a jackknifed truck. It rerouted me through some backroads and saved me like two hours just sitting there.

The backroads around here are a lifesaver sometimes. I had a similar thing happen near the river bridge last year, and it only added ten minutes to my trip instead of over an hour sitting still. Wish my GPS would do that every time...
