Spent $80 on a Klein Tools fish tape after swearing by the cheap ones for 15 years
That thing paid for itself on the first pull through a conduit full of dried mud and old wire, so why did I wait this long to upgrade?

Fifteen years is a long time to fight with the cheap ones" - that's exactly what I'm questioning, @nancy_king29. I mean, $80 on a fish tape? For one pull? Doesn't sound like a game changer to me. I've been using the same $15 tape from Home Depot for a decade and it's never let me down. Even with mud and old wire, a little wd-40 and elbow grease does the trick. Maybe I'm missing something, but you guys make it sound like a life changing event. It's just a tool that snakes wire, not a miracle.
