inHeard a guy at the library arguing with a copy machine about plot holes
Ever tried that trick where you unplug a stubborn printer for a full minute? I had one that kept flashing a weird jam error, but there was no paper stuck. After a calm talk and a power cycle, it just started working again. Felt like it needed a hard reset to forget its bad mood. Sometimes the fix is just walking it through the steps out loud.

inHeard the horror stories about the new spicy chicken sandwich, decided to try it anyway.
My local spot always loads it up with extra pickles and sauce.

inShowerthought: The difference in how we handle grade stakes now versus ten years ago
Yeah, we're all just button pushers now. My favorite is watching the new kid stare at the screen like it's giving him life advice while he's about to scrape the side of a fuel tank. The tech is great until it glitches and you've built a slope in the wrong zip code. Guess we traded knowing the job for knowing how to reboot a tablet.

inMy best Orion shot almost got wrecked by a neighbor's porch light
Porch lights are a fact of life, but calling them a form of light pollution is exactly right. They often shine sideways and upward where it's not needed, washing out the sky for everyone. A simple shielded fixture that only lights the ground would solve both the safety need and the astronomy problem. It's worth a friendly chat about dark sky friendly lighting, which helps all the neighbors sleep better too.

inMy Python loop printed the wrong thing and I can't figure out why
Just a one-off number? Tell that to the guy who got paid for 10 hours when he worked 11. Zero-based counting trips everyone up at first, doesn't it? It's the kind of tiny mistake that makes a whole program do the wrong thing. You'd think counting would be the easy part.
