I used to think apology videos were all the same until I saw that one from the singer in Austin

I always thought they were just reading a script, but watching her hands shake and her voice crack in that one last month made me look closer. Now I check if they look at the camera or off to the side, which shows if they're reading. Has anyone else noticed a specific tell that gives away a fake apology?

Watch their shoulders, that stiff posture gives it away every time. What other body language clues have you spotted?

Fake apologies always have that weird, rehearsed eye contact.

But I've seen real apologies with intense eye contact too, people trying to really connect. Sometimes that focus is just genuine effort, not a script. How do you tell the real from the fake then?
