My cousin said all celebrity apologies are fake because they're coached by PR teams
We were watching that apology from the singer who messed up in Dallas last month, and she insisted every word is scripted to manipulate fans. I think that's too cynical, because sometimes you can see real shame in their eyes, even if the words are polished. Does anyone have an example of an apology that felt genuinely unscripted to them?

Yeah, it's like that feeling is everywhere now. People just want to be heard, not argued with. I see it in line at the store, in my family group chat, everywhere. It's become a default way to talk, even when we don't fully agree. It makes things smoother on the surface, but sometimes it feels like we're avoiding the real talk.

Alice928 nailed it. We're all just trying to be polite and keep the peace, even when it means not saying what we really mean. Gets pretty tiring.

Real shame in their eyes" is a wild thing to say. You can't actually know what a stranger on a screen is feeling. That look could just be good acting for the camera.
