Had a rough week with that viral celebrity breakup story
Last Tuesday I spent 3 hours cross-referencing paparazzi photos and timeline posts about Jake and Mia's split, only to realize their publicists leaked the whole thing to distract from a flop movie opening. The details just didn't add up once I checked venue bookings and friend group comments. Has anyone else caught a PR stunt like that after digging into the numbers?

Oh wow, three hours? That is some serious dedication and now I see why! It's crazy how bad the math is on these things once you actually look. I remember when people found out about that stunt last year where they staged a "surprise" airport reunion but someone spotted the same background extras in two different cities within 24 hours. Never trust a timeline that has zero daylight gaps or mismatched shadows. Publicists really think we don't compare every single detail against reality.

Ha, right. They think we don't have eyes or a calendar.

They always think nobody's gonna run the dates through a calendar app. @kimw57 nailed it about those airport reunion stunts, I remember that one too. Publicists get sloppy when they have two different fake storylines running at once. The venue booking gaps are usually where they mess up, like a "private dinner" at a place that was closed for renovations that night. Your mileage may vary but I'd say three hours was time well spent, that flop movie angle is pretty obvious once you see it.
