Hit 100 fake PR stunts spotted this month alone, wild how many are lies

I been tracking celeb PR stunts for a blog I run and I hit 100 fake ones just in October. Like one star claimed they "accidentally" got caught at a cafe with a rival, but the photographer was literally their cousin lol. It matters cause it shows how much of the gossip we eat up is just manufactured drama. Anyone else notice a spike in these staged moments lately?

Jumping right in to say YES, this is getting so out of hand. I literally caught a video last week of a star "spontaneously" bumping into their ex at a farmers market, but the camera guy was holding a branded mic from their own show. Like, come on. The worst part is how lazy they get with the details, I saw one where the "random fan" who took the photo had the same last name as the celeb's manager. It makes you side-eye every "caught off guard" pap shot from the last five years. Honestly, if theyre gonna fake it, at least make the acting believable.

Feeling this so hard. I actually saw that same Paulson and Diaz "accidental" run-in and it was so painfully staged, I almost felt embarrassed for them. The cousin as the photographer thing is a whole new level of lazy though, at least they used to try harder with strangers. It's making me wonder how much of the "authentic" BTS content we see from reality stars is just the same thing but on a smaller scale.

Three seconds into that clip and I knew it was fake. @zara_sanchez you nailed it, the cousin thing is just sad. How do they not realize we can see right through this stuff?
