I compared two gossip blogs for a month and one was way off base
So I got super into following celebrity news last summer and I was reading both TMZ and DeuxMoi pretty regularly. I started tracking what each one said about the same stories - like the whole Kylie and Timothee thing. After about 3 weeks I noticed DeuxMoi kept posting these wild claims that never got confirmed by anyone, while TMZ had actual paparazzi photos and sources. One time DeuxMoi said a famous actor checked into rehab in Malibu and it turned out to be a complete lie. Has anyone else done a side by side comparison like that and found one source totally unreliable?

Wait didn't DeuxMoi have that whole drama last year where someone proved they made up stories from fake DMs? I read this deep dive on Lipstick Alley where someone tracked like 20 of their "tips" and only 2 turned out to be real. TMZ is shady too don't get me wrong but at least they show receipts sometimes. The rehab lie you mentioned is exactly the kind of thing that made me stop taking DeuxMoi seriously, it's just wild guesses dressed up as insider info.

wait did yall see that thread where someone proved deuxmoi was literally making up dms from "anonymous sources" that were just different burner accounts? i swear that lipstick alley deep dive was insane, they matched the typing patterns and everything. like people actually spent money on her patreon for made up gossip that was just wild guesses. at least when tmz posts something wrong they get sued and have to issue a correction, deuxmoi just deletes the post and pretends it never happened. the rehab rumor thing you mentioned is a perfect example, she ran with that story for weeks and when it turned out false she just moved on like nothing happened.
