I was reading an old magazine and found out something wild about a famous actor's first job

I was cleaning out my grandma's attic last weekend and found a stack of old People magazines from the 90s. In one, there was a tiny blurb saying that before he got famous, a certain action star worked as a door-to-door salesman for vacuum cleaners for about six months and only sold one. I always thought that guy just came out of nowhere as a model or something. Has anyone else stumbled on a random fact that totally flipped how you saw a celebrity's story?

Reminds me how we make up simple backstories for people we don't know. See a guy with great hair and assume he's always been confident, or meet a quiet coworker and picture their whole life as boring. We fill in the blanks with the easiest story.
