Looking at photos from the Met Gala, I can't get over how different Margot Robbie looks from her Barbie press tour.

Six months ago, she was all bright pink and blonde for the movie, but last night she showed up with dark hair and a super classic, almost old Hollywood vibe. The change is so complete it makes you wonder if the whole Barbie look was just a character she was playing... or if she's trying to shift her whole image now. Has anyone else noticed a celeb do a total 180 like this, and what do you think it means?

Honestly, it's just good acting. She did her job perfectly as Barbie and now she's done. Actors change their look all the time, it doesn't have to be some deep image shift. It's probably a mix of wanting a change and not getting stuck as one character forever. The whiplash just shows how convincing she was in the first place.

My friend Sarah got a pixie cut after playing Rapunzel in our school play, total @kai_chen2 moment. She just needed to shake off the character and be herself again.

Margot's transformation is pretty wild. I remember when Emma Stone went from her Easy A red hair back to blonde for La La Land, it felt like a real reset. Sometimes it's just for a role, but other times it seems like a star wants to leave a specific character behind and show a new side of themselves.
