My landlord in Logan Square hasn't fixed the broken heat since November and it's getting cold again. What can I do?

That's an illegal lockout, call 311 now.

Yeah, 311 will definitely send someone out... in about three business weeks. Hope you're real comfy on that doorstep.

Actually, 311 is usually pretty fast with lockout calls... they treat it like an emergency. Had a neighbor get locked out last winter, and a city worker showed up in under two hours. The three-week wait is more for stuff like a slow garbage pickup or a pothole ticket.
