inMet a retired archaeologist at a diner in New Mexico
Read a piece a while back that argued archaeologists are basically scared of their own shadow now, worried a tourist will drop a pot shard and sue them. Reminds me of that old saying about how you can't just trust people with nice things anymore.

inThat $40 'magnetic car mount' that peeled my dashboard paint off in 3 days
$240 is actually a pretty fair price for a proper repair if they're using the vinyl repair kits with heat and texture stamps. The bigger issue nobody's mentioned is that once that spot gets worse from sun damage or a passenger's knee pushing on it, that little mistake turns into a crack that runs across the whole dash. Honestly, a 2012 Honda still has plenty of life left and a cracked dash drops resale value way more than $200.

inThat influencer apology with the shaky hands felt fake until I saw her old vlogs
65% of the time you're probably right about that @kai_burns73, but some people just fidget when they're anxious or cold, not necessarily hiding something.

inUnpopular opinion: big soaking tubs are a waste of space
Honestly "soak up cleaning time" is so real. I swear every big soaking tub I've ever seen has that weird ring around it that never fully scrubs off. Last month my friend from Seattle told me she finally gave up cleaning hers and just started using it as a giant laundry basket for her kids' comforters and pillows. That stuff piles up fast and then you're tripping over a full tub every time you go to brush your teeth. Tbh I'd rather just take my chances with a standard shower and a stool to sit on if I really want to soak my feet.

Random week" makes it sound like luck, but you built that habit.
