Vent: My coast trip showed me electric car rentals are getting common
I just drove along the coast and rented an electric car for the whole week. In my experience, this was a big change from a few years back when options were limited. Every small town I passed had at least one charging spot, which made the trip easy. I met other travelers who chose electric cars to lower their carbon footprint. My friend Mark rented a Tesla in Santa Cruz last month. He said every hotel he stayed at had a charger he could use overnight. Made the whole trip way simpler than he thought.
