inThinking about the quiet work of hand-fitting border pieces
Taping down chalk lines as a guide first saved my sanity (and my fingers). It still takes ages, but breaking it into small sections makes the process feel less huge. The key is accepting it'll be a slow, kinda meditative project. You just have to love the process, or at least really love how it looks when it's done.

inRant: My camping trip in the desert destroyed my skincare groove
People forget that desert sun does more than just dry out skin. UV rays team up with the dry air to break down your skin's natural protection. Your lotion gives up because it fights heat and lack of moisture at the same time. Skin gets stuck trying to stop burns while also saving moisture. That tight feeling might mean sun damage is adding to the problem. Did your skin react differently to sun after coming back?
