Lost 3 hours chasing a tool offset glitch on a Haas VF-2

Spent all morning yesterday fighting a part that kept coming out 0.015 off. Checked the tool holder, checked the vise, even re-zeroed the part. Turned out my boring bar was set with the wrong offset in the DWO. It was a simple Z+ correction I missed from the previous setup. Stupid mistake but it ate half my shift. Anyone else have a routine error that took way too long to catch?

Did you check the DWO table first? That one always gets me too.

Ha, yeah I learned that lesson the hard way last week. Spent an hour digging through the wrong table before I facepalmed and checked DWO. Your mileage may vary but that table is basically my go-to fail now.

Wait, is DWO actually the right move here? @amyh12 you mentioned it too but I swear I got burned using that table last month when the schema changed without notice. Maybe I'm just unlucky but I'd double check the metadata before diving into DWO again.
