Oh man I've seen this exact thing happen way too many times. Dude probably watched a couple youtube videos and now he's telling everyone that their $3 bin find is actually a rare variant worth $200. The comic shop regulars are probably rolling their eyes so hard they're gonna strain something. I swear it's always the new guys who act like they discovered the hobby when really they just started reading comics last month. Give it another 3 months and he'll be moving on to something else.
