Unpopular take: My Kirby Morgan 37 is way better than my old KM 28
I spent 5 years diving with a KM 28 in the Gulf and thought it was fine until I got a 37 last spring. The weight difference on my neck after a 6-hour shift in 45-degree water is night and day. Has anyone else made that switch and found the 37 helps with fatigue more than people admit?

Buddy of mine found flakes in his ice tray after a year with his 28.

Eh, is it really that big of a deal? I've been using an old 28 for years and never thought twice about it.

and honestly @dylan463, the thing nobody's bringing up is how old panels can start to leak microplastics into your water after a few years. i had a 28 from like 2019 and it was fine for a while, but then the coating started flaking off and i could literally see little shiny bits in my ice cubes. that's the part that got me to switch, not the performance or whatever.
