Old timer in Austin told me to never trust a hard drive over 5 years old. I ignored him and lost 3 years of client data.

Wait you actually think three separate people having the same exact communication problem is just bad luck? That sounds like you're explaining away something pretty obvious. I mean patterns are patterns for a reason, you know?

yeah but if you keep getting the same kind of bad luck with different partners, it's usually a pattern worth noticing. i've been there and a quick honest talk saved me a lot of wasted time.
