Had a slab crack on me last Tuesday afternoon...
Poured a 10x12 patio slab for a lady in Arlington and everything looked perfect when we finished. Next morning I drove by and there was a hairline crack running right through the middle, maybe 8 feet long. I think I went too light on the control joint cuts since I was trying to make it look seamless for her. Has anyone else had a crack show up that fast and what did you do about it

Trying to make it look seamless" is how my buddy Mike ended up with a cracked walkway that showed up before the homeowner even paid him. He tried patching it with a color-matched epoxy and it looked okay for about a week before the crack came right back through the repair. Ended up having to rip out the whole section and repour it with proper control joints and it was a mess of a lesson learned.
