Pro tip: tracked the cure time on my last slab and learned the hard way 28 days is not the same as 7.

I checked the PSI data from a local supplier's spec sheet and was stunned to see the strength gain curve barely moves after day 14, so why do we still tell homeowners to wait a full month before parking on it?

Flatlining curves" makes me think of my uncle's old truck that just stopped gaining speed at 55 mph no matter how hard you pushed the gas.

Honestly, the 28 day thing is just tradition at this point, like pouring a footer without checking the weather. The spec sheets are basically a horror story after 14 days with those flatlining curves. Ngl, we're just keeping the "wait a month" myth alive so we can blame the concrete when a driveway cracks.

Flatlining curves" is exactly what my buddy the engineer was ranting about last week, @wren230.
