I finally gave up on that 3D printed concrete project in Denver

Man, I spent the better part of six weeks trying to calibrate a gantry system for a 3D printed retaining wall. Every single pour either slumped over or cracked right down the middle as it dried. I figured it'd be a two week thing tops but it just kept going wrong. Did anybody else run into issues with concrete setting too fast for automated layering?

Read somewhere that someone spent like three weeks tweaking their setup and still couldn't get it right. @rodriguez.mia I totally get what you mean, every little adjustment seems to throw something else off. Heard a guy on a podcast say you basically have to treat it like a whole system instead of just parts. Wish someone would just make a guide that actually works for once instead of all this trial and error stuff.

Honestly @rodriguez.mia, maybe the real issue is the mix ratio throwing off the whole curing schedule.
