Our site's drone just logged its 1,000th automated safety scan this morning.
That's a full year of daily flights without a single missed inspection, which honestly shocked me given how much we used to rely on manual walks. Has anyone else hit a number with their automated gear that made you stop and think?

How long did it take for you to stop checking the logs every day? We hit 500 consecutive soil samples with our field sensors and I had the same feeling... like I kept waiting for the system to fail. It’s a weird relief when the tech just quietly does its job, right?

Remember when those grocery store self-checkouts first showed up? Felt like they'd jam every other item. Now they just work. Kinda forgot they were even a thing.

A thousand scans is just a number. Automated systems fail in boring ways, like a sensor drift you won't notice until it's too late. The real test is what happens on day 1,001 when a storm hits.
