That time I bleached someone's roots way too close to the base
I was at the chair last Tuesday and my client had this dark root grow out. I got too aggressive with the application and it lifted to almost white near the scalp in like 10 minutes. She ended up with a hot spot that was kinda blotchy, and I had to tone it twice to blend it in. Anyone else got a bleach mistake story from rushing?

Rushing roots is such a nightmare, I've totally been there and it sucks.

Hate when that happens, nothing worse than trying to fix roots in a rush and just making them more obvious. Usually ends up with me washing my hair again anyway, which totally defeats the purpose.

Oh man, isn't it the worst when you think you're being careful and then bam, white roots staring back at you? I did the exact same thing last month on a touch up, I was rushing because my next client showed up early and I got the lightener too close. It lifted so fast I could practically see it changing in front of me, and I ended up with this one weird stripe that was almost see through. I had to throw a demi on the whole head twice and it still looked a little off for like a week. The worst part is you feel so dumb because you know better, but you just wanted to get it done quick. I swear, every time I rush I end up spending more time fixing it than if I just slowed down from the start.
