Tried a new hoist ring design on a lift in Houston
Swapped out my standard hoist ring for one of those swivel level load rings last week on a 10 ton pick. The load stayed way more stable through the whole swing, no binding at all. Learned those things are worth the extra 40 bucks if you deal with angled lifts often. Anyone else switched to these and noticed a big difference?

Get one with a thrust bearing if you haven't already, makes a world of difference on the swing.

And make sure you get the heavy duty one, I had to replace mine after a season of hard use.

Oh man, yeah, @wilson.olivia is spot on about the heavy duty one. I learned that lesson the hard way too. That thrust bearing is a game changer though - I put one on my swing last summer and it's so much smoother, no more catching or grinding. If you're going through a season of hard use like Olivia mentioned, definitely get the heavy duty with a bearing already built in, it'll save you from having to swap parts later.
