inFound a new angle on fixing that disappearing text glitch
Had a buddy who fixed the same issue by pasting into Notepad first, worked like a charm for him too.

inShowerthought: a job in Savannah taught me to always check the studs before hanging a single sheet.
Yeah robinp89's point about making them fix it makes sense, but honestly I used to think that way too. Before that Savannah job I would have just blamed the framers and walked off. Then I realized sometimes you gotta adapt to what's in front of you instead of waiting for someone else to get it right. That 19 inch spacing meant I had to get real creative with blocking and extra backing, but the wall came out solid in the end. Now I check every single stud layout before I even bring a sheet in the house. Saves way more headache than trying to argue with a builder about redoing their work.

inI finally got my sourdough starter to double in size after 3 weeks of trying
Used to think tap water was fine for everything, even making bread, but after fighting my starter for almost a month I finally caved and tried bottled water. Big difference. Mine went from barely bubbling to doubling overnight like yours did. I honestly thought people were being overly picky about water but now I get it. Still feels a little wasteful buying bottled water just for flour and water though. Your first loaf sounds way better than my first attempt too, mine was a brick.

inMy skepticism about geothermal heat pumps was way off
8 years payback sounds great until you do the math on how long I've been putting off fixing the hole in my roof. My old oil furnace is basically a campfire with a blower attached to it and I'm pretty sure it's held together with nostalgia and pipe tape at this point. The longest I've ever committed to anything is probably a Netflix series so signing up for an 8 year payoff feels like I'm proposing marriage to a heat pump. But hey if it actually cuts my $600 February bill down to something that doesn't require a second mortgage then maybe I'll finally have enough money to fix that roof.

inShein vs thrift store jeans - I was totally wrong about quality
Damn, never thought of it that way but you're totally right.
