That viral video of the 'self driving' semi truck in Nebraska is total garbage
I drove across Nebraska on I-80 last month and saw one of those trucks people keep posting about. The video claims the truck was driving itself with no driver. Bull. I saw the same rig at a rest stop near Kearney and there was a guy in the cab the whole time, just had his hands off the wheel for a few seconds. These clips are edited to cut out the driver. The truck I saw had a driver and a second guy riding shotgun with a laptop open. Has anyone actually watched one of these things park or merge into traffic without a human touching the controls?

First time I saw the video I was suspicious too, looked edited. My cousin drives for a company testing those and he says a driver has to be in the seat ready to grab the wheel at all times.
