Caught my first really subtle fake in a news clip from last Tuesday

It was a local weather report and the anchor's left eye had a weird, tiny stutter in the blink. Has anyone else noticed that eye movement is still a big giveaway?

Yeah, the eye blink thing is still a dead giveaway.

I mean I saw a whole video breaking it down. They just don't blink like a real person, it's always too slow or at weird times. It's like the tech people focused so hard on making the mouth move right they forgot eyes are important too. Maybe it's just me but once you notice it you can't unsee it in a lot of the clips going around.

My buddy showed me a clip of a politician last week where the guy's right eye just froze for a full second during a normal sentence. It didn't blink, it didn't move, it was just stuck there staring while his mouth kept talking. He swore it was real until we found the original and the eye movement was totally normal.
