I used to think deep fakes were easy to spot until I spent a Tuesday night analyzing that Biden voice clone

After watching 12 different audio samples side by side and realizing even I couldn't tell which one was real without the waveform tool, I finally understood why my dental office could get scammed by a fake caller pretending to be our supplier asking for payment details, has anyone here had a close call with voice deep fakes at work?

Even I couldn't tell which one was real" - that's a pretty bold claim for a Tuesday night experiment with 12 samples side by side. @brooket43, are we really sure the average scammer is that good, or are we just spooked by a tech demo? Seems like a lot of fear over something that's still pretty rare in real life.

Ever set up a verbal code word with your family to handle stuff like this?

Have you ever gotten a voicemail from someone that sounded totally real but was off somehow? I almost fell for one last month from "my bank" asking me to call them back.
