I was checking a clip from a local station in Cleveland and the anchor's ear lobes kept changing size between cuts. Ran it through a free open-source face detector and found mismatched skin texture on all three presenters. Anyone else seeing this pattern in regional news feeds lately?

Those ear lobe size changes are probably just compression artifacts from the stream, not some hidden clue. I've run similar checks on my own local feed and gotten false positives because the software picks up shadows and motion blur. @patricia32, that mustache thing sounds like your neighbor might have just been seeing a reflection or a trick of the light, honestly. The skin texture mismatches can happen when stations switch between different camera angles and lighting setups mid-broadcast. I'm not saying the media is perfect, but this feels more like tech glitches than a coordinated fake news operation.
