Coworking space in Chiang Mai pushed me over the edge on open offices

I was at Punspace in Chiang Mai last month and the constant chatter from 4 different video calls at once made me realize I can't focus in open spaces anymore. Has anyone else found a quiet corner setup that actually works for remote work?

Have you tried good noise-cancelling headphones?

And noise cancelling headphones only do so much when someone is talking right next to you. I finally caved and got a library membership here - it's dead quiet and I just use my phone hotspot if the WiFi is slow.

Bet you never thought you'd be paying taxes just to sit in a quiet room with a hotspot, huh? They say libraries are free but the real cost is admitting the open office plan lost. @wright.leo asked about good noise cancelling headphones but I guess the real trick is finding a place without any humans in it first.
