Coworking spaces in Medellin... everyone raves about them but I'm not sold yet

I tried Selina for a week last month and the wifi dropped 3 times during a client call. Maybe I just picked a bad one but for $35 a day I expected better. Anyone found a coworking spot in South America that actually has reliable internet?

Dude, YES. Exact same thing happened to me at a WeWork in Santiago. Paid for the hot desk pass and my video call froze three times in an hour. The cafe across the street had better wifi, no joke. @fiona_kim97 is right about checking upload speeds, I didn't even think to ask before I paid.

Wow, $35 a day and the wifi kept dying? That's rough. I had a similar thing happen in Buenos Aires at this place called Urban Station. Paid for their premium day pass and the internet was fine for browsing but couldn't handle video calls. The staff just shrugged and said to try the cafe downstairs. Funny thing is the cafe's free wifi was actually better than the coworking space's paid one. Learned my lesson to always ask about upload speeds specifically and check if they have a backup connection. Hope you find something decent.

Actually the cafe's wifi was probably just less congested with fewer people on it, not necessarily faster.
