Two months in Colombia taught me coworking spaces beat coffee shops for focus
I spent my first month in Medellin working from cafes and barely got through my spreadsheets because of the noise and shaky wifi. Then I tried Selina coworking in El Poblado for $80 a month and my output doubled - steady connection, quiet zones, and actual desks. The difference was night and day for my accounting work when I could finally concentrate on reconciling numbers without someone's reggaeton blasting. Has anyone else found a sweet spot between cost and productivity abroad?

What, so I should just embrace the reggaeton lifestyle instead?

Seriously? "doubled your output" from an $80 desk? Sounds like a flex more than a real problem. I've done fine with a $3 coffee and a corner table in Bogota. Maybe the issue was the cafes you picked, not the format.
